Biegel & Perra Appraisals is an independent real estate appraisal firm proudly affiliated with the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) serving the Peace Country of Alberta, and the Dawson Creek area of northeastern British Columbia from our office in Grande Prairie, Alberta for over 20 years.
Real estate appraisal is the process of developing an opinion of the market value for real property. Real estate transactions often require appraisals because they occur infrequently and every property is unique. Appraisal reports form the basis for mortgage loans, refinancing, staff relocations, foreclosure / power of sale proceedings, settling estates, divorces, taxation, and so on. Sometimes an appraisal report is used to establish a sale price for a property as well.
Christian and Dirk Schotz became co-owners of Biegel & Perra Appraisals in 2012 and are excited about building the company brand as a customer service leader. They understand the value of conducting business in a courteous and professional manner in a time sensitive and price conscious market place.
